Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Role Overview The position is for a Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse responsible for providing direct patient care in a specialized cardiovascular environment. The nurse will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Responsibilities include educating patients and families, promoting safety, developing individualized care plans, and managing sedation and airway during procedures. The role emphasizes patient advocacy, critical thinking, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team. Qualifications & Skills Applicants must hold an RN license and have a Nursing Diploma/Associate's or higher, with preferred Bachelor's Degree. Experience requirements include at least 2 years of bedside critical care, emergency, or cardiac cath experience. Strong assessment, communication, and critical care skills are essential. Key Duties Assess and monitor patients’ hemodynamic, neurologic, and respiratory responses. Administer conscious sedation and manage airway during procedures. Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and medication management. Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities.
