Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Pre/Post-Operative RN for our Recovery Room at SUNY Upstate Downtown Hospital. The ideal candidate will have strong inpatient PACU and critical care experience, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the PACU and critical care settings.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatment.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC Electronic Medical Records.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Uphold infection control and patient safety standards.
