Position SummaryThe Payroll Specialist ensures accurate, timely payroll processing and dependable employee support. This role safeguards data integrity, maintains payroll records, and helps ensure compliance with applicable requirements.Key responsibilities include preparing and processing payroll, verifying time and attendance inputs, maintaining employee payroll files, responding to payroll-related inquiries, and producing routine payroll reports. Throughout the day, you will switch between focused desk work and responsive communication—checking messages, clarifying details with client contacts, and keeping documentation current. You will communicate with clients throughout the day via phone and email. The schedule is onsite in Fargo, Monday–Thursday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with a Friday half-day (8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.).
