Responsibilities The Chargeback Specialist II will work all card brands (Amex/Visa/MC & Discover, Pin Debit) and understand the rules and regulations within each card brand. Level2 will handle escalated calls & review escalated cases from the level1role. Level2 will be responsible for training new team members on the daily tasks. Work chargeback cases from start to finish which includes, merchant notification of the chargeback, gathering the required information for the dispute category code, reviewing documentation to make a sound educated decision and representing the case to the card brand. Communicating the outcome of the case back to the merchant/sales office when necessary. Manage relationships with merchants & sales offices by answering incoming e-mails and calls. Educate merchants & sales offices on chargebacks and the rules and regulations of the card brand. Monitor escalated cases/calls from Level1. Manage all pre-arbitration / arbitration cases received from the Visa, MC, Discover, Pin Debit. Daily settlement (Incoming/aging/resolution & balancing numbers for the department daily). Basic Qualifications HS/GED and 2 years or Associate’s and 0 years Must be 18 years of age or older Customer Service experience Excel and Word experience Preferred Qualifications 2 years in Chargebacks or related field Highly organized and detailed oriented Ability to respond to stressful situations (calls/emails) effectively & maintain a level of professionalism Possess a high level of integrity & maintain confidentiality.
