Production AssistantCombine your interest in NBA basketball, broadcast production, and sports storytelling as a part-time Production Assistant with the Oklahoma City Thunder. As a member of the Emmy Award-winning Thunder Broadcast department, you will support live game recording, footage logging, media requests, and archive management while gaining hands-on experience assisting with shoots and editing content.In this role you will:Record Thunder home and away game broadcasts and other live feedsLog recorded games, practices, press conferences and team events, identifying memorable moments for future use by producers and editorsSearch for footage and build playlists to support internal and external production requestsMaintain accurate archive records to track the location and contents of historical Thunder footageAssist with in-house and field shoots by transporting, setting up, and operating production equipmentShoot video and edit content for Thunder productions under the direction of department producersCollaborate with producers, editors, and other members of the Broadcast department to support live programming and post-production projectsPerform other duties as assignedWhat you'll bring to the role:Must be at least 18 years oldStrong time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlinesWorking knowledge of basketball terminology, Thunder storylines, and NBA coverageStrong organizational skills and attention to detailInterest in sports production, videography, editing, and visual storytellingBasic knowledge of camera operation, production workflows, and video editing techniquesExperience with Adobe Creative Cloud is preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office, including ExcelAbility to collaborate effectively in a team environment and a willingness to learnAdditional Details:This is a part-time, hourly position reporting to the Broadcast Production Lead. The primary work location is the Thunder corporate office at Paycom Center in downtown Oklahoma City. The work schedule requires flexibility and averages 20-29 hours per week, including office hours, events, and game nights during evenings, weekends, and holidays. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required, as the role includes occasional local travel.
