Radiology Technologist

Role Overview: This position involves performing a variety of imaging procedures, including CT and X-Rays, with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain imaging equipment such as X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS. Assist physicians, nurses, and staff by providing technical support and patient care. Conduct imaging exams following established policies, procedures, and regulations, notifying physicians of results. Perform basic clinical procedures under supervision. Maintain documentation, logs, and records in both paper and electronic formats. Collect laboratory samples, perform lab testing, and ensure quality control and proficiency testing. Perform routine maintenance and quality assessments on imaging equipment. Retain analytic records for at least two years. Support ER duties and travel between facility locations as needed. Participate in staff meetings and perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED; AMA-approved Radiology Technology program completion required. Certification as a radiologic technologist and ARRT registration in radiography required; CT certification preferred or required within 12 months, depending on the market. Current BLS certification. 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience preferred, with at least 1 year in CT and ER experience preferred. Proficiency with imaging hardware/software, PACS, and fluency in English. #J-18808-Ljbffr
