This full-time opportunity runs from August 25th to May 28th, serving a high school caseload with a cross-categorical focus. You'll play a key role in fostering growth, independence, and academic achievement for students with diverse needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Special Education Teaching certification, valid for working in Wisconsin
• Proven success as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting
• Skilled in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and implementing accommodations
• Experience managing high school student caseloads across a range of exceptionalities
• Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptable, organized, and committed to student well-being

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction tailored to the specific needs of high school students
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs to ensure compliance and student progress
• Use evidence-based strategies to promote student engagement and success
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
