This full-time, onsite contract role runs from August 3, 2026, through June 7, 2027, offering 35 hours per week as part of a collaborative team.

You’ll work specifically in a Life Skills classroom at the high school level, providing direct instruction to approximately 10 students each day. This role is ideal for educators eager to make a difference by helping students build practical skills and achieve their fullest potential in an inclusive setting.

Qualifications:

• Active Indiana teaching license in Special Education (provide license screenshot during application)
• Previous experience working with high school students preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment
• Ability to implement differentiated instruction and individualized learning plans

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate Life Skills instruction to students with varying needs
• Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet individual goals within IEPs
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies to ensure success
• Participate in IEP and team meetings as required
