Accountant (Contract)

Must-Have Qualifications

• Epicor P21 experience required
• Minimum of 3 years of solid general accounting experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Required Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of solid general accounting experience
• Proficiency with Epicor Prophet 21 (P21)
• Experience with Sage, Concur, and Beckton software (preferred but not required)
• Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
• Background check clearance

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with vendor management and EDI transaction interfaces
• Familiarity with NACHA file uploads, wire transfers, and credit card payments
• Knowledge of fixed asset management using Sage Fixed Asset or FAS systems
• Experience with month-end closing activities and financial reporting
• Understanding of sales tax filing processes, including Avalara and Ohio CAT filings

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or vendor-based environment
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving financial landscape
