About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Chief Nursing Informatics Officer (ACNIO) to join their team. This enterprise nursing informatics leadership role is pivotal in supporting the vision, strategy, and execution of an integrated clinical informatics model that enhances outcomes-driven nursing practice. The ACNIO will work closely with the Chief Nursing Informatics Officer and other leaders in nursing, clinical informatics, IT, analytics, and quality to ensure that nursing practice is effectively represented in clinical systems and that data and analytics are integral to daily clinical and operational decision-making. The role also involves operationalizing nursing analytics strategies that contribute to quality, safety, operational efficiency, and strategic performance. Candidates for the ACNIO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in nursing, nursing informatics, or a related field, with a Master's or Doctoral degree preferred. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in nursing, clinical informatics, or operational leadership is required, with a background in data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence. Experience in acute and/or ambulatory care environments is also preferred. The successful candidate will be a current RN with licensure in the applicable state, and nursing informatics certification is a plus. The role demands a professional who is adept at collaboration, and is passionate about advancing health outcomes and building healthier communities through the effective use of information and analytical sciences in nursing practice.
