Human Resources (HR) Generalist

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Generalist to support payroll, benefits, and people operations activities for a services environment in Lansing, Michigan. This Long-term Contract position will focus on payroll-related processes while helping maintain accurate HR records and compliance. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in payroll, transactional relations, and HR administration, along with the ability to manage sensitive information with accuracy and professionalism.Responsibilities:• Guide employees and managers on workplace matters, policies, and day-to-day HR questions while helping resolve concerns in a timely and effective manner.• Administer benefits-related processes such as enrollments, updates, deductions, and employee communications regarding available programs.• Maintain and update employee information within ADP to support accurate reporting and recordkeeping.• Process payroll activities across the full cycle, review data for accuracy, and assist with resolving discrepancies before final submission.• Perform account reconciliations related to payroll and benefits to help ensure financial accuracy and proper documentation.• Support HR administrative functions by preparing records, tracking employee changes, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and applicable requirements.• Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll, benefits, and employee data issues while promoting smooth HR operations.
