RN Gastroenterology Pre-op and Post-op Outpatient Surgery Center

Phaxis is looking for a dedicated RN in Charlotte, where your contributions will make a meaningful impact on patient care and overall clinic operations. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment. Location - Charlotte, NC (Ballantyne area) Position - RN Gastroenterology Pre-op and Post-op Outpatient Surgery Center Schedule - Days, Monday through Friday - 40 hours/week

Responsibilities

• Carry out provider-ordered treatments and administer medications
• Start IVs, administer IV fluids, and monitor patient responses
• Complete medication refills, prior authorizations, forms, and electronic orders
• Triage patient calls and determine the appropriate urgency and level of care
• Direct patients to a provider, urgent care, or the emergency department when appropriate
• Participate in emergency response procedures when necessary
• Support Medical Assistants and help maintain efficient patient flow
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient communication

Requirements

• 1-2 years of RN experience
• GI Experience Preferred (not required)
• BLS Required
• Active North Carolina RN license (or compact)
