Tech Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:

The Cath Lab/EP Tech supports diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures within a state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization and radiology lab. They are responsible for equipment setup, maintaining sterile fields, and assisting during complex cardiac and vascular interventions to ensure safe and efficient patient care.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Set up and calibrate diagnostic and interventional equipment for procedures.
  
  
• 
  Perform EKG lead placement and prep patients' access sites following sterile techniques.
  
  
• 
  Assist with recognition and management of life-threatening arrhythmias and hemodynamic instability.
  
  
• 
  Stock supplies, maintain sterile fields, and ensure procedural readiness.
  
  
• 
  Support vascular interventions such as angioplasty and endovascular procedures, including stent placement.
  
  
• 
  Aid in complex cath lab procedures like ASD closures, pacemaker insertions, and left/right heart catheterization.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Active NJ or Compact license required at submission; NJ license must be obtained prior to start.
  
  
• 
  Certification in BLS, ACLS, and ARRT(R) or RCIS required.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a cath lab or interventional radiology setting; 1-year may be considered.
  
  
• 
  Proven skills in sterile technique, equipment operation, and vascular access procedures.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work in fast-paced, high-acuity environments, with floating within skillset.
