Pay & Benefits

Pay Rate: $46.90/hour

What You'll Do

Provide high-quality nursing care for patients on the Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit, including those with sepsis, cellulitis, DVT/PE, CHF, COPD, COVID, PNA, and post-op patients
Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes promptly
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Assist with wound management, JP drains, wound vacs, and IV therapies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including hospitalists, PT, OT, and RT
Document patient care accurately in Meditech Expanse EMR system
Float to other Med/Surg units as necessary and support team members during shift

What You Need

Required:

Active Louisiana RN license
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
Minimum 2 years acute care RN experience
Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to start

Preferred:

Telemetry experience
Experience with wound care and IV placement
