Accounts Payable (AP) Responsibilities:
- Enter vendor invoices accurately into the accounting system.
- Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
- Review invoices for correct amounts, dates, approvals, and coding.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and internal departments.
- Manage biweekly and ad hoc check runs.
- Send remittance notifications after payments are released.
- Scan, organize, and maintain AP invoice records and supporting documents.
- Follow up on missing invoices, receipts, or approvals as needed.
Accounts Receivable (AR) Responsibilities:
- Post daily cash receipts accurately and timely.
- Generate and send customer invoices based on shipping documentation.
- Request and follow up on remittance details for customer payments.
- Perform daily billing and cash posting updates and communicate status to management.
- Assist with customer account inquiries and payment follow-up.
General Accounting Responsibilities:
- Review and process employee expense reports and verify supporting documentation.
- Assist with reconciliations, reporting, and month-end support.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Assist with special projects and other assignments as directed by management.
- Support continuous improvement of accounting procedures and workflow efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :
- 2 -3 years of AP, AR, and accounting procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems preferred.
- Accounting Associate's or Bachelors preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business
- Experience with ERP system
- Working experience in a manufacturing environment
