Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Clerk to join our Branded division in Fullerton. This is a fully onsite, contract-to-hire opportunity offering long-term growth potential within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The Accounting Clerk will support daily accounting operations, order processing, billing activities, and various administrative and reporting functions.
Key Responsibilities
Weekly Order Processing & Billing
- Enter and receive purchase orders from various customers
- Coordinate purchase orders with suppliers and third-party freight carriers
- Confirm deliveries and process invoices to customers
- Maintain weekly billing logs and sales boards
- Assist with sales reporting and credit/aging reports
Additional Accounting Support
- Review Accounts Receivable activity as needed
- Review Accounts Payable activity as needed
- Provide general accounting and administrative support to the department
- Assist with special projects and miscellaneous assignments as assigned
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of related accounting, billing, order processing, or administrative experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with customers, vendors, and internal teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet software
- Experience with accounting and database software preferred
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to interpret instructions, reports, and procedure manuals
- Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills
- Basic math and accounting knowledge including percentages, discounts, and calculations
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Physical & Work Environment
- Primarily seated office role in a quiet work environment
- Occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds may be required
