Salary: $50,000 - $55,000

What Youll Do

As our Assistant Bookkeeper, youll support the day-to-day accounting operations of the firm while working closely with our Bookkeeper and leadership team. Responsibilities include:

Recording financial transactions in QuickBooks Desktop
Processing accounts payable and preparing payments
Assisting with reconciliations for bank and credit card accounts
Maintaining organized and accurate financial records
Assisting with cost advanced tracking and coding
Supporting month-end and year-end accounting processes
Identifying discrepancies and proactively helping resolve issues
Maintaining confidentiality of financial information
Assisting with additional accounting projects as the role grows

What Were Looking For

The ideal candidate is highly organized, accurate, proactive, and comfortable handling sensitive information.

Qualifications include:

1+ years of bookkeeping, accounting support, or related experience
Working knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Experience with Filevine is a plus, but not required
