Job Summary: Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate patient care in a professional office environment. This role involves delivering psychosocial, physical, and general care tailored to patients' needs under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or physician. You will play a vital role in maintaining regulatory compliance and supporting communication among healthcare providers regarding patient conditions and diagnostic results. Essential Job Functions:
Compensation and Benefits: Starting salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications, with annual incremental increases. - Deliver direct patient care under physician supervision, assess outcomes, and collaborate with healthcare team members as needed.
- Assist nursing and medical staff during routine exams and treatments for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.
- Perform patient care duties with attention to age-appropriate standards and safety protocols to minimize healthcare errors.
- Promote a culture of safety and quality within the clinical setting.
- Apply knowledge of human growth and development to provide tailored care across the lifespan.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant recognized by the state is mandatory.
- Strong computer skills and typing accuracy are essential.
- Experience in urgent care and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems are preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and proficiency in taking patient vitals is advantageous.
- Adhere to all regulatory and organizational policies.
- Maintain punctuality and complete assigned tasks within designated timelines.
- Exemplify respectful and courteous communication with patients, guests, and colleagues.
