The mission of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center is to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach treatment goals and to return to more integrated community living settings. Pinecrest Supports & Services Center specializes in the treatment of people with comorbid intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical, behavioral, and psychiatric support needs.

Pinecrest Supports & Services Center (PSSC) is seeking a dedicated Certified Lifeguards to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality care and coordination of services across Pinecrest.

Minimum Qualifications:

No experience, need to be certified (Lifeguards)

Job Duties and Other Information:

• Trains and guides individuals in routine and elementary recreational activities. Assist individuals with daily living activities such as bathing and dressing Assistance may include lifting up to 50 lbs. Observes behavior and health of people and reports sudden or unusual changer to higher authority. Prevents or stops disturbances through approved facility policies and procedures.
• Assist and train individuals during swimming activities to insure their safety and well-being. Incumbent must be a certified lifeguard. Accompany individuals to off-campus recreational activities such as community baseball games, concerts, recreational parks ensuring that people interact with others.
• Maintains appropriate communication with supervisor and with coworkers to reinforce and enhance skills necessary for adaptation and productivity. Reports accidents/incidents and suspected cases of abuse or neglect immediately to supervisor, investigation unit and client rights.

Position-Specific Details:

Position is located with Pinecrest Supports & Services Center. Location: Residential Services - Certified Lifeguards. Appointment Type: Unclassified Appointment. Shift: 8AM-8PM Team A or B. Certified Lifeguards. $15.00hr.
