Special Education teacher 70 to 75 per hour

Join our dedicated team at Boston Speech Therapy as a Special Education Teacher! We are looking for a passionate educator who is committed to making a difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs. This role offers a competitive pay rate ranging from $70 to $75 per hour. This is a temporary position starting ASAP until the end of the school year. You must have an MA in Special Education and a valid Massachusetts Special Educators license. Grade level: 7th grade class. Your primary responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), providing specialized instruction, and supporting students in achieving their academic goals. Key Responsibilities Create and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to students' unique needs Conduct assessments to monitor and evaluate student progress Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to support inclusive practices Communicate effectively with students, parents, and team members Utilize behavioral strategies to promote a positive learning environment Requirements Master's degree in Special Education Valid state certification in Special Education Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting Strong knowledge of teaching methodologies and adaptive strategies Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational experience for all students Benefits 1099 contract $65-75 per hour Boston Speech Therapy is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to compliance with all federal, state, and local laws regarding equal employment opportunity.
