Work Environment

Situated in the serene and vibrant community of Lake Worth, our rehabilitation center offers an engaging and friendly atmosphere where professionals can thrive. The center operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while providing continuous care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations for 1-2 patients per hour, assessing their physical capabilities and needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing a mix of manual therapy techniques and functional exercises tailored to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Regularly monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to ensure attainable goals are met.
• Document clinical information promptly and accurately in accordance with the highest clinical guidelines, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, rehabilitation techniques, and lifestyle modifications that promote ongoing health and mobility.
• Effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role specifically focuses on the treatment of patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will be working closely with a diverse group of individuals ranging from active adults to older adults with varying levels of physical ability, ensuring that each patient receives a unique approach to their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or MPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid and active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster patient relationships and teamwork.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient or orthopedic care setting.
• Experience using various treatment modalities and rehabilitation techniques specific to orthopedic conditions.

Compensation and Benefits
