Account Manager - Landscape Maintenance

Area Manager PositionRuppert Landscape is a privately held commercial landscape maintenance and construction company based in Laytonsville, MD. With a multi-state presence and a small company feel, our mission is to provide opportunities for our people, take care of our customers, and be good stewards of the environment and our community.We are hiring an Area Manager to join our Jacksonville Maintenance branch.The Area Manager oversees the operational and financial performance of landscape maintenance teams, with a focus on team leadership, client satisfaction, and business growth. The ideal candidate brings a strategic mindset to workforce management, budgeting, and service delivery, while fostering strong client relationships and ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient landscape operations.Pay Range: $60,000 - 80,000 annually, depending on experience.Responsibilities:Ability to successfully recruit, lead and build an effective teamExperience managing a portfolio with understanding of a P & L for a targeted gross profitIdentifying opportunities for landscape improvements in promoting enhancement salesUnderstanding customer's needs and expectations with managing a sustainable landscape planDriving quality and efficiency within operations teamsFull capacity with managing crews within budgetary man hoursProficient in job costing, budget management and forecastingAbility to estimate maintenance job costs for bid proposalsAptitude in demonstrating high level of customer service while maintaining customer relationshipsManage production schedule for assigned crewsProvide safe work environment and align with company's safety policiesQualifications:Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environmentKnowledge of operating equipment and preventative maintenanceStrong oral, communication and organizational skillsProficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook3 years minimum experience in customer service and management related experienceA degree in Agribusiness, Horticulture or Business Management is preferredWhat we provide:Competitive salaryCompany vehicle (gas card, maintenance, and insurance included)On-the-job trainingPaid Time offMedical benefits with dental and visionFlexible Spending Account401(k) planFlexible work/life balanceFamily-oriented company cultureRuppert Landscape is an Equal Opportunity and E-verify Employer
