Unit Clerk/RegistrarUnder supervision of the nurse manager or designee, the Unit Clerk/Registrar organizes the activities of the nurse station by performing clerical, reception, registration and support duties; maintaining the physical environment of the area; assuring adequate clerical supplies; coordinating transportation for patient intra hospital transfers; and filing documents into medical records. The position requires exercise of judgment in clerical decisions, knowledge of department and hospital policies and procedures, and the ability to follow diverse procedures.
