Position: Demand Response Account Manager We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Demand Response Account Manager focused on supporting a large Commercial & Industrial Demand Response program. The role will promote energy demand curtailment concepts, strategies, services, and financial incentives available to customers from their local utility. As an Account Manager, you will identify cost‑effective investments in Demand Response, conduct onsite customer assessments, deliver value propositions, and collaborate with client program teams to ensure alignment on program priorities. Key Responsibilities Project Management: support program participants to maximize value by implementing demand curtailment strategies for their facilities. Conduct site assessments and make recommendations on program participation. Deliver value propositions to key stakeholders, including client key accounts and customers. Track and report project progress in a timely manner. Develop program processes and recommend improvements. Outreach & Recruitment: achieve client demand reduction goals, recruit potential program participants, and communicate program value. Customer Service/Reporting: collaborate with owners, managers, facilities staff, contractors, and utility teams to optimize demand reduction potential and program incentives. Escalate program/partner issues in a timely manner to appropriate management levels. Participate in weekly and monthly report‑out meetings with internal teams and/or utility clients. Develop program management dashboards to increase transparency, visibility, and value to client stakeholders. Key Qualifications BS preferred; additional postgraduate education or related training a plus. 3–5 years of professional experience in energy efficiency, demand response, outside sales, consulting, or a similar field. Proven ability to communicate a value proposition, foster trust, and build relationships with all program stakeholders. Strong communication skills with contractors, customers, and utility teams. Knowledge of demand response and demand curtailment strategies for commercial and institutional customers a strong differentiator. Ability to work in Texas and be present in the Austin area as program priorities warrant. Compensation Target compensation: $80,000 per year. Compensation range: $62,700.00 – $94,100.00.
