• Assemble and summarize data to structure loss analysis template to identify financial status, risks, and controllable versus uncontrollable losses.
• Analyze all past claims filed to determine possible recoverability, report on identifiable recoverable versus non-recoverable losses.
• Identify trends, advise internal lines of business, and recommend actions to senior management.
• Determine in-depth the degree of risk involved.
• Consult with management to guide and influence long-term and strategic decision making.
• Explain audit findings and recommend solutions to management.
• Assist in developing financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis.
• Suggest creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
• Adhere to all state, federal laws, regulations, investor and insurer guidelines.
• All other duties assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree in Business, Math, English, Legal or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of mortgage banking, familiarity with RESPA, FDCPA, GLBA, and federal and state laws related to foreclosure and bankruptcy processes.
• 2-4 years of experience preferably in a mortgage banking environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of: FHA Part A and B claim filing, FHA supplemental claim filing, FHA loss mitigation claim filing, VA claim filing and USDA claim filing.
• Ability to audit and analyze work outputs by interpreting government agency and department guidelines/standards.
• Advanced analytical skills, ability to analyze problems and provide the appropriate solution.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze data and make recommendations on how to improve trends.
• Must be highly confidential to protect the client's privacy rights.
• Word, Excel, Access, Internet, MSP (LPS/Fidelity) application skills.
• Excellent professional verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and take direction from more senior personnel.
• Proven ability to prioritize workflow during high volumes and within critical time frame.
• Able to work in a fast paced, multi-faceted environment.

Compensation Range

$19.33 - $28.89 per hour. Actual compensation may vary within the range provided, depending on a number of factors, including qualifications, skills and experience.
