Welder/Fabricator III

Shift & Pay:

• 1st Shift: Flexible start time between 5:00 AM - 6:00 AM with end times between 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM (45-hour workweek). Open to qualified candidates interested in 3rd shift opportunities.
• Pay: $28.00 - $35.00/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently layout, fit, fabricate, weld, and finish complex structural steel and miscellaneous metal products from detailed shop drawings and specifications.
• Perform advanced MIG and/or TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other materials while maintaining high-quality workmanship and adherence to welding standards.
• Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, tolerances, bills of materials, and fabrication notes to ensure accurate production and project completion.
• Conduct quality inspections throughout fabrication processes, verifying dimensions, fit-up, weld integrity, finishes, and overall compliance with project requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication and welding challenges, including alignment issues, distortion control, weld defects, and tolerance concerns.
• Utilize advanced measuring, layout, and inspection tools to produce precision fabrications and complex assemblies.
• Serve as a technical resource by training and mentoring junior welders/fabricators while promoting safe work practices and continuous improvement.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Joy, PA.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
