Our client is seeking a People Experience Specialist to lead initiatives that shape the employee experience, from onboarding through career development, driving engagement, culture, and retention across the organization.

As a People Compliance Specialist, you will be the guardian of our workforce standards and the shield protecting the company from regulatory risk. You will own the compliance lifecycle, managing everything from Form I-9 audits and E-Verify checks to tracking complex labor laws , client-site security clearances, and fair wage practices. If you love the details, excel at keeping processes airtight, and want to ensure our frontline workers are treated fairly and legally under all guidelines, this role is your perfect match.

• Support I-9 verification, E-Verify, and background-check processes.
\n
• Maintain accurate and compliant employee files and records.
\n
• Assist with compliance audits and reporting, including EEO-1, AAP, and OSHA logs.
\n
• Track completion of mandatory compliance training.
\n
• Respond to unemployment claims and verification-of-employment requests.
\n
• Support investigations and documentation of employee-relations matters.
\n
• Monitor compliance deadlines and assist with policy updates.
\n
• Assist with responses to agency inquiries and audits.
\n
• Provide general administrative support to the People Compliance Manager.
\n

What stands out amongst top talent

\n
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
\n
• 1-2+ years of experience in HR compliance , HR administration, or a related role.
\n
• Familiarity with employment law basics, including FLSA, EEO, and I-9 requirements.
\n
• Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
\n
• High level of discretion with confidential information.
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems .
\n
• Experience with high-volume, hourly, or deskless workforces (e.g., facility services, hospitality, staffing agencies, construction, or retail) is highly preferred.
