Full Charge Bookkeeper
We are an independent Tire and Automotive Service seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is essential in keeping our financials accurate and organized.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare month-end closing reports
- Process payroll and assist with benefit tracking (experience with ADP a plus)
- Track inventory-related financials
- Prepare financial reports such as balance sheet and income statements, assist with budgeting, and provide reporting to management
- Work closely with external CPA for tax preparation and year end filings
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Other duties upon request to maintain office
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (automotive industry a plus)
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks
- Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting
- Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Integrity, reliability, and ability to handle confidential information
