CNC Programmer 2nd Shift - 4 Day/10 Hour Schedule Are you ready to bring your CNC skills to a team that values precision and innovation? What You’ll Do: Analyze specifications : Review job orders, blueprints, and technical drawings to calculate dimensions, select tools, and determine machine speeds. Program CNC machines : Create and optimize CNC programs using CAM software to ensure precision and efficiency. CNC setup & calibration : Set up CNC equipment, calibrate tools, and ensure proper machine function before production. Trial runs & adjustments : Perform trial simulations, adjusting programs as needed to ensure accuracy and minimize errors. Safety & cleanliness : Follow all safety standards, wear PPE for the duration of the shift while on the manufacturing floor, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Cross-departmental support : Assist with other areas of production as needed to ensure smooth operations. What You’ll Bring: Education : High School Diploma or GED. Experience : At least 2 years of experience programming and setting up 3-axis CNC mills. CAM software : Experience with CAM software preferred. Technical knowledge : Strong understanding of basic machining practices and mechanical processes. Mathematics & communication : Solid math skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical details. Problem-solving & teamwork : Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset. Physical requirements : Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment. Work ethic : Dependable with a commitment to high-quality, precise work standards. Your Schedule: 2nd Shift : Monday – Thursday, 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM To perform this job successfully, you must be able to report daily to the branch to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
