Events and Operations Manager

One of The Sage Group’s clients is looking for an Events and Operations Manager. The client provides autonomous technology, which combines specialized hardware and deep-learning AI. About the Team We build thoughtful marketing strategy, positioning, messaging and creative assets to deliver messages that matter to our audience, communicated through anything from video content, to social media interactions, to immersive physical experiences. We also shape client's go-to-market initiatives, helping to transform client into a thriving business with a growing user base. Field Marketing Support (60%) Lead end-to-end field marketing execution across the US market, managing complex project timelines, event logistics, and localized brand experiences from inception through completion. Oversee all operational elements of assigned projects, meticulously managing internal workflows and external vendor partnerships to ensure seamless on-site execution. Manage comprehensive project budgets, delivering impactful brand activations while consistently tracking on, or under, budget allocations. Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships across multiple internal business units. Partner effectively with external stakeholders, vendors, and production agencies to bring events and activations to life. Establish, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for each activation to measure event ROI, foot traffic, overall brand engagement, and more. Translate post-event data and performance metrics into actionable insights. Help develop scalable asset strategies to implement across markets based on event learnings and insights. Willingness to travel up to 40% domestically within the US to provide on-site execution support during key activations and events. Strategic Operations (20%) Oversee end-to-end contract administration, collaborating with internal and external teams to draft, review, and execute departmental MSAs, SOWs, and NDAs. Help manage departmental and project-based financial tracking, spearheading monthly reconciliation, vendor invoice auditing, and budget reporting. Secure necessary event Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and municipal permits as required for legal and venue compliance. Maintain and manage event assets, premium collateral, and technical equipment, ensuring optimal inventory levels and seamless shipping coordination. Standardize and drive the Request for Proposal (RFP) process to source, vet, and select top-tier creative, production, and staffing agencies for upcoming projects. Build and curate a centralized, nationwide database of preferred vendors, local staffing partners, and reliable contractors to accelerate project kickoff timelines. Experiential Support (20%) Partner to bring major tent-pole brand activations to life, managing core logistics, timelines, and deliverables for assigned elements of large-scale experiential projects. Minimum Qualifications 6 years minimum experience in e2e event specific and project management roles Strong experience partnering with Finance, Legal, and Procurement Experience executing events of small to medium scale from inception through completion Strong attention to detail and organizational skills and strong with the operational/admin side of events Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experienced in entertainment, luxury, fashion and/or automotive brands Experience doing events across the US Are a strong project manager Location: Hybrid, must live in either LA or San Francisco CA Duration: 1 year to start plus extension and contract to hire potential #J-18808-Ljbffr
