Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and medical history assessments
• Assist in diagnosing surgical cases by analyzing imaging results and laboratory data
• Work in conjunction with surgeons to formulate and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide critical intraoperative support, including preparing surgical environments, ensuring patient safety, and efficiently passing instruments
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-surgical care, which includes administering medications, managing wound care, discharging patients, and delivering educational support

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery

Certifications

• Unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
