Job Description Job Description Job Title: Staff Accountant Job Description The Staff Accountant ensures accurate financial record-keeping and supports the full lifecycle of post-award grant accounting for federal and private research awards. This role contributes significantly to month-end close activities, complex reconciliations, indirect cost rate application, and annual audit preparation under Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200). The Staff Accountant collaborates with research administrators and finance team members to maintain compliant, audit-ready financial records and to provide clear, timely reporting for sponsored projects.
