Location Devonshire by Erickson Senior Living Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and professional Housekeeper to join our team at Devonshire / Chatsworth at PGA National. You will perform a variety of housekeeping duties including vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, dusting, and picking up and disposing of trash. Attention to detail and experience with customer service are required. The right person takes pride in their work and is a great team player. Various shifts and hours are available so let us know what works for you! Position Type PRN Housekeeper Schedule Current opening is a flexible schedule, filling in as needed, but other part-time and full-time shifts may become available once you join our team. How you will make an impact Cleaning resident’s homes in Independent Living or Resident Rooms in Nursing Home Maintaining cleanliness of the Community through the use of specialized equipment. Cleaning public bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, fixtures Cleaning lobbies/living rooms including vacuuming, high and low dusting, de-cluttering, and removing trash, spot clean walls/windows/switches, baseboards, pictures, lights, HVAC vents. Cleaning classrooms, including dusting, vacuuming, white/chalkboards, tables/chairs Assisting with the collection, bagging, and disposal of trash, as well as replacing trashcan liners Maintaining carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming. What you will need The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) requires all new hires to successfully complete and pass an extensive Level 2 background screening, which covers U.S. Federal, State and City checks (submitting fingerprints), prior to the start of employment. For more information you can visit their website: Previous experience cleaning in a residential or commercial setting is ideal Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member Ability to safely operate Housekeeping vehicles Ability to demonstrate professional and responsive interactions with residents and their family members, staff, vendors, and each other Please note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
