Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist

$18 - $20 per hour

Urgently seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist to join a well-established company local to the Baton Rouge area. This role will be responsible for handling the full cycle of accounting-related processes ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with financial standards. Our clients is seeking a candidate with at least 4-6 years of accounting experience and expertise using QuickBooks. This is a full-time career position paying in the range of $18-$20 per hour with an extensive benefits package.


Position Responsibilities:

• Process payments using QuickBooks (Online and Desktop)
• Perform Accounts Receivable functions by generating invoices, applying payments, and reconciling customer accounts
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of business transactions via data entry
• Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
• Provide administrative assistance and backup for payroll/HR as needed


Position Requirements:

• Previous in-office accounting experience of at least 4 years is REQUIRED!!
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is HEAVILY PREFERRED and may be considered in lieu of experience
• Proficiency operating QuickBooks (Online and Desktop)
• Strong organizational skills including ability to multi-task
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Punctuality and dependability are key to success
