Job Description:


- Be a key player in providing pre and post-operative care for patients across all ages: infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.
- Utilize your technical skills and assessment expertise in a fast-paced environment.
- Enjoy a scenic location on the Central California Coast, close to beautiful beaches and vibrant community life.

Position Highlights:


- Minimum one year experience in pre and post-operative diagnostic cath lab preferred.
- Collaborate in a supportive team that values your contributions and insights.
- Gain invaluable experience in a county-designated trauma center with a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
- Enjoy flexible scheduling with variable shifts, 3 twelve-hour shifts per week.

Requirements:


- Associate Degree (A.S.) in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in medical-surgical nursing in the last two years preferred.

Essential Functions:


- Identify recurrent patient problems and symptoms using established standards of care.
- Recognize symptoms of cardiac or respiratory distress and respond with urgency.
- Demonstrate proficiency in post-operative phase two recovery care.
- Interpret ECG rhythms accurately and manage care during emergencies.
- Review patient medical histories and diagnostic data thoroughly.
