About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to take on a highly visible leadership role within its growing financial services organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading financial planning, forecasting, profitability analysis, financial modeling, and providing strategic decision support. This role involves managing a team of finance professionals, owning the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, and serving as a key business partner to executive leadership. The VP of Finance will also be involved in guiding financial performance, balance sheet strategy, and long-term business planning, and will play a critical part in preparing executive and board-level financial presentations and reporting materials. Applicants for the VP of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for advanced credentials such as CPA, CFA, or MBA. A minimum of 10 years' of progressive finance experience, including a background in financial analysis, financial management, and a proven track record of managing and developing finance teams, is required. The role demands strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and executive presentation skills, and a history of partnering with senior leadership to influence business decisions through financial analysis. Experience in banking, credit union, or broader financial services environments is also preferred.
