IP Network Integration Engineer (Nokia / Cisco / Juniper)

Seeking an experienced IP Network Integration Engineer to support lab activities involving the configuration, integration, validation, and troubleshooting of multi-vendor routing and switching platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Nokia, Cisco, and Juniper technologies and a strong background in IP/MPLS networking within service provider or telecom environments. Hands-on experience with Nokia routing platforms (7750 SR, 7250 IXR, 7705 SAR, SR OS) is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day lab operations and network validation activities.
• Configure, integrate, and troubleshoot multi-vendor routing platforms.
• Perform software upgrades, feature validation, and regression testing.
• Execute test plans and document results, defects, and corrective actions.
• Validate Layer 2 and Layer 3 network functionality and end-to-end connectivity.
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, and transport-related issues.
• Analyze packet captures and logs using Wireshark and Linux tools.
• Work with engineering teams to resolve hardware and software issues.
• Support interoperability testing across multi-vendor environments.
• Participate in network performance analysis and optimization activities.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IP networking, telecom, or service provider environments.
• Hands-on experience with Nokia, Cisco, and/or Juniper routers and switches .
• Hands-on experience with Nokia routing platforms (7750 SR, 7250 IXR, 7705 SAR, SR OS) is REQUIRED.
• Strong knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies.
• Experience with routing protocols including:
• BGP
• OSPF
• IS-IS
• MPLS
• LDP
• RSVP-TE
• Segment Routing (preferred)
• Knowledge of Carrier Ethernet, VLANs, QoS, and traffic engineering.
• Experience with packet analysis tools such as Wireshark.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and basic scripting.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues in a lab setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with service provider networks.
• Knowledge of EVPN-VXLAN architectures.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Python or Ansible.
• Experience with Nokia SR OS, Cisco IOS-XR/NX-OS, and Juniper Junos.
• Exposure to network management and orchestration platforms.
