Fall 2026 Washington, D.C. Internship

The Office of United States Senator John Fetterman seeks full-time fall interns for the fall semester. Internships with the Office of United States Senator John Fetterman offers students a deeper understanding of public service, community engagement, and the legislative process. Competitive candidates are strong writers with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. Successful interns are good team members, adaptable, and open to feedback. While a demonstrated interest in public service is appreciated, we value diverse experiences and backgrounds. Applicants with Pennsylvania ties are given priority. An internship in Washington, D.C. will focus on policy work, scheduling and administrative support, and press relations. Applicants must be able to meet urgent deadlines, work autonomously, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Washington, D.C. internships are open to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as, veterans enrolled in educational programs. Internships are paid unless in conflict with degree requirements, outside stipends, or other unique circumstances.
