Job Title Welder – Wausau location ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Tack weld body frames and rings Weld body frame, rings, and feet Stack rotor laminations onto arbors and weld laminations Read blueprints and follow job specifications Approve and reject raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance Select output and check them using appropriate methods and measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications, etc. Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient and comply with safety standards Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Ability to follow established procedures for safety, quality and general assembly High school diploma or equivalent required; higher degree from a technical school is a plus Certified welder – MIG, TIG, wire feed, aluminum and steel, preferred Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management Basic computer literacy, preferred Effective communication skills, written and verbal communications skills Ability to understand the physical and mechanical properties of metal as affected by composition Mechanical working and heat treatments including metal cutting and grinding is desirable Ability to coach and lead others with respect, dignity, strong communication skills written‑verbal Benefits 401(k) and company match Dental, medical and vision insurance – Day One Employee assistance program Employee discounts Flexible spending account Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off – Day One Tuition reimbursement Onsite fitness center Onsite physical therapy Schedule 2nd shift, Monday – Thursday, 10 hour shifts, 3pm – 1am, overtime work available Job Type Full‑time #J-18808-Ljbffr
