Location: 4015 SHOPTON Rd, Charlotte, NC, 28217
Shift: 2nd Shift, Sunday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM EST
Overtime: Potential for varying overtime
Pay: $20/hr (Paid Weekly)
Contract: 09/20/2026 to 12/20/2026

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable  Pharmacy Clerk to support high-volume pharmacy fulfillment, packing, shipping, and inventory operations. The ideal candidate will have pharmacy, production, packing, or order fulfillment experience and be comfortable working with medications and other regulated materials.

This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong accuracy, dependable attendance, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while following established procedures and HIPAA requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Process, pack, and ship outgoing pharmacy orders, ensuring medications, supplies, and patient education materials are included.
• Properly package products according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Prepare shipping boxes and complete daily box preparation activities.
• Create and correct shipping labels, including labels for international shipments.
• Transport packages to shipping, mail, and courier areas as needed.
• Assist with shipping and delivery doors.
• Receive and properly store incoming box orders.
• Assist with ordering and inventory/warehouse activities.
• Ensure medications and other products are stored appropriately, including proper refrigeration of perishable products.
• Learn and utilize commercial courier and shipping systems.
• Maintain an adequate supply of ice bricks for daily shipments.
• Assemble shipping boxes and empty trash as needed.
• Maintain awareness of shipping and holiday schedules.
• Communicate courier or shipping issues to the supervisor.
• Follow HIPAA requirements and applicable healthcare industry practices.
• Support coworkers and other pharmacy teams as needed to meet production goals.

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older .
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds .
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Excellent attendance and strong personal accountability.
• Self-motivated and dependable.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work quickly while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Flexibility to shift priorities on short notice to meet production needs.
• Strong teamwork and willingness to assist coworkers.
• Ability to accept and apply constructive feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pharmacy experience or pharmacy licensure strongly preferred.
• Production, packing, or order fulfillment experience.
• Experience handling medications, hazardous materials, or other highly regulated products.
• Experience working in a high-volume production environment.
• Knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations.
• Familiarity with healthcare industry best practices.
• Strong history of accuracy and minimal production errors.

Team Environment

The Pharmacy Clerk team consists of approximately 16–25 Pharmacy Clerks , supported by a  Lead Pharmacy Clerk and  Pharmacy Operations Supervisor . The team works closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, automation/engineering teams, and other pharmacy operations groups.
