Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Employee Relations Specialist to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This Hybrid, temp to possible hire opportunity is based in Cherry Hill, NJ and offers the chance to play a key role in fostering a positive workplace environment while supporting employee and labor relations efforts. The individual in this position will work closely with leadership, human resources professionals, and employees to address workplace concerns, provide guidance on employment practices, and contribute to programs that strengthen engagement and retention. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate complex employee matters with professionalism and discretion.
Compensation:
$35.00 - $43.00/hour
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities of the Employee Relations Specialist:

• Guide managers and employees on workplace policies, employment practices, and compliance requirements while serving as a trusted resource for employee relations matters.
• Conduct reviews of employee concerns, workplace complaints, and sensitive personnel issues, providing recommendations and coordinating appropriate resolution strategies.
• Support labor relations activities by interpreting collective bargaining agreements, assisting with dispute resolution processes, and maintaining productive relationships with labor representatives.
• Analyze employee feedback, turnover trends, and workplace concerns to help develop engagement initiatives, retention efforts, and continuous improvement recommendations.
• Facilitate training sessions, presentations, and informational meetings related to employee relations, labor relations, workplace expectations, and organizational policies.

Qualifications and Skills for the Employee Relations Specialist:

• Experience supporting employee relations functions, including workplace issue resolution, investigations, and employee guidance.
• Knowledge of employment laws, regulatory requirements, and human resources best practices with the ability to apply them in daily operations.
• Familiarity with labor relations processes, including contract interpretation, grievance administration, labor management discussions, and related compliance activities.
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and relationship building abilities with experience collaborating across multiple levels of an organization.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze workplace trends, manage sensitive information confidentially, and deliver training or informational presentations.
