Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health status using established diagnostic criteria and evidence-based practices.

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of each client.

• Provide therapy sessions that promote personal growth, utilizing diverse modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Engage in collaborative discussions with clients to set therapeutic goals and regularly assess progress, making adjustments as needed.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment outcomes in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in clinical supervision and professional development opportunities to continuously enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The role focuses on working with a broad spectrum of clients, including adults, children, and adolescents, experiencing various mental health challenges. As an LMFT, you will be instrumental in facilitating family therapy sessions, guiding families through communication issues, and addressing relational dynamics to foster healthier interactions.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois, with a commitment to maintaining credentials.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related mental health field from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating proficiency in therapy with individuals and/or families.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documenting client interactions and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients who have complex mental health needs or co-occurring disorders.

• Familiarity with evidence-based interventions and treatment planning methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
