Job Summary: Provide essential clinical support and patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting. Responsibilities adapt daily to meet the evolving needs of the practice.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk individuals. Offer reassurance, clear instructions, and appropriate triage via telephone communication.
• Ensure smooth healthcare delivery throughout patient visits by accurately completing and updating medical records. Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints. Monitor and report abnormal symptoms to physicians and document findings thoroughly.
• Support physicians during testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams. Assist with splinting, dressing, medication samples, and maintain related logs. Coordinate patient testing, referrals, and follow-up communications.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Perform laboratory tests and treatments as prescribed, assisting with documentation and patient education to ensure understanding of treatment plans and medication usage.

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing program is required.

Work shifts are varied, supporting a regional healthcare facility in the Midwest United States.
