Education:
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of three years of recent critical care nursing experience is essential.
Requirements:
Current active Registered Nurse licensure by the state board is mandatory. Area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty certifications are required and may be obtained upon hire.
Responsibilities:
Efficiently manage resources and time to promote cost savings while delivering high-quality care. Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives, applying critical thinking and thorough documentation. Foster a therapeutic environment and actively contribute to patient satisfaction through professional and compassionate interactions. Prioritize patient safety by incorporating fall prevention, safe mobilization, medication administration, and accurate patient identification into daily routines. Engage in professional growth through mentoring, leadership roles, and ongoing education. Maintain excellent communication and collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
