Job Summary:

Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered nursing care in a supportive environment that champions best practices and exceptional customer service. This role emphasizes relationship-based care and upholds professional nursing standards guided by the ANA Code of Ethics, regional Nurse Practice Acts, and regulatory requirements. The acute care setting includes medical, surgical, emergency, intensive care, pediatric, childbirth, operating room, and specialty procedural units.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage time and resources, prioritizing critical tasks while balancing short- and long-term goals.
• Apply current clinical knowledge and technical skills to deliver high-quality patient care and make appropriate patient assignments based on acuity and expertise.

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent experience with at least five years in acute care if from a non-accredited program.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in advanced degree programs is supported.
• Completion and maintenance of area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty credentials as applicable.

Licensure and Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license valid in the regional jurisdiction.

Work Shift: Night shift, part-time (48 hours biweekly) with every third weekend rotation.
