Job Summary: Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered nursing care in a supportive environment that emphasizes best practices and exceptional customer service. This role fosters relationship-based care and upholds professional nursing standards guided by the ANA Code of Ethics, relevant nursing practice acts, and regulatory agency standards. The position supports acute care departments including medical, surgical, emergency, intensive care, childbirth, pediatric, operating room, and specialty units.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage time and resources, prioritizing critical tasks while balancing short- and long-term objectives.
• Maintain and enhance clinical expertise through ongoing education and application of evidence-based practices.
• Deliver excellent patient and visitor relations, embodying core values such as respect, integrity, collaboration, empathy, and professionalism.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare teams to manage expectations and ensure a positive care experience.
• Promote a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols, reporting incidents, and participating in proactive risk reduction.
• Engage in continuous professional development, leadership opportunities, and shared governance activities.
• Foster teamwork by motivating colleagues, encouraging cooperation, and mentoring others.

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent experience with at least five years of acute care nursing if from a non-accredited program.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in advanced degree programs is accepted.
• Completion and maintenance of area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty certifications.

Licensure and Certifications:

• Current active Registered Nurse license as required by the state nursing board.

Work Shift: Night shift, part-time, approximately 24 hours per week.
