Legal Counsel IIIEmployer: Amazon.com Services LLCJob Location: New York, New YorkPosition Responsibilities:Provide legal support for Amazon's Prime Air program.Advise business and technical teams on laws and regulations relevant to drone design, certification, and operation, including laws governing health and safety and technology use.Advise and counsel teams responsible for the design, procurement, and launch of drone sites.Provide guidance on laws and regulations informing supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing of aerospace equipment.Interpret U.S. and international laws and regulations governing operational safety, data privacy/data protection, and use of AI/ML technology in drone operation.Advise on service marketing and advertising requirements in the U.S. and abroad.Position Requirements:Five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.Must have five years of experience in the following skills: (1) advising business clients in the aviation or logistics sectors; and (2) advising on regulatory compliance and risk management for product safety or occupational safety matters.License to practice law in the U.S. or foreign jurisdiction required.Amazon.com is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer – Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation.40 hours/week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $169,300/year to $229,000/year.Amazon is a total compensation company.
