FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPER

We’re seeking a dynamic, highly-skilled Bookkeeper, who is eager to make a significant impact and help drive the firm’s growth. Key Responsibilities Client Interaction: Communicate directly with clients to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on accounting matters. Accounting & Financial Management: Prepare accurate financial statements for business clients, process payroll, manage sales tax returns, and prepare 1099 forms. Software Expertise: Utilize QuickBooks (desktop and online) to manage client accounts, maintain financial records, and generate reports. Other Duties: File/scanning, data entry, payroll processing, and other office-related tasks as needed. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in a full-charge bookkeeping role at a public accounting firm. Proficiency in QuickBooks (both Desktop and Online) is essential. Advanced Excel skills (ability to work with formulas, pivot tables, etc.). Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Ability to work independently and efficiently, preparing accurate financials without supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with payroll processing, payroll tax returns, sales tax returns, and 1099 preparation. Commercial rent tax return preparation is a plus. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
