EP Lab Tech - Day Shift
Location: Florida
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Day shift, 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:00), no weekends or call required.
Job Description: The EP Lab Tech will be responsible for performing various procedures and supporting the EP lab team in delivering exceptional patient care. The position requires a comprehensive understanding of electrophysiology principles and techniques, as well as proficiency in operating relevant equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in electrophysiology procedures and ensure the lab environment is conducive to patient care.
- Utilize advanced technology and equipment in the EP lab.
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff for effective patient management.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation within the established charting system.
- Follow all protocols and guidelines related to patient care and safety standards.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an EP Lab Tech.
- Current Florida license or a compact license is required.
- ARRT or CCI certification is highly preferred.
- Experience with Cerner or Epic charting systems is required.
