Work Environment

This full-time role is onsite, primarily offering home care services where therapists engage with patients in their residences, promoting recovery in familiar settings. You will work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring consistency in your schedule while allowing for work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive physical assessments to formulate customized treatment plans tailored to meet individual patient needs and goals.
• Implementing evidence-based therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to enhance patients' mobility and overall functionality. For instance, you may utilize gait training and strength conditioning tailored to specific recovery paths.
• Educating patients on injury prevention strategies and long-term health maintenance, fostering self-management and empowerment in their rehabilitation journey.
• Regularly documenting patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing clinical evaluations and patient feedback.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists and physicians, to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on outpatient individuals recovering from various conditions, including orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• Current New York State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; preference will be given to candidates with a Master's degree or higher.

Compensation and Benefits
